The Fisher Price Rainforest Melodies & Lights Deluxe Gym will entertain your baby with its 20 minutes of music, two repositionable toys and pulsing coloured lights that accompany the music. The large mat has a quilted rainforest scene with a satin border. – There are plenty of hanging items including an elephant with rattle beads, toucan with rattle, parrot with rotating discs, soft monkey, hanging mirror and butterflies. These can all be moved around to provide variety and entertainment for baby.
It is suitable from birth and your baby will soon be loving the sounds, lights and toys.
A popular feature of the rainforest gym is that you are able to attach toys to the outside of the mat so they are accessible when your baby is lying on their front or back. The fabric is easy to clean in the wash and the construction is sturdy as you would expect from a Fisher Price toy.
The music is as tolerable as it can be on a baby’s toy. You won’t be downloading it onto your mp3 player, well very unlikely, but it isn’t anywhere near as bad as some. The rainforest sounds are not too bad at all and some people even claim to like them! If the sounds do get too much there are different volume levels.
One criticism we have noticed is that once put together it isn’t easy to take apart without some degree of force, which makes some people feel slightly uncomfortable about possibly breaking some part of the gym.
